About
If the church disappeared from your community tomorrow, would anyone grieve its absence?
This question is at the heart of Church as a Neighbor, a two-day ministry conference that gathers church leaders, ministry practitioners, and theological educators to explore what it means for the church to be a real neighbor in its own community.
This is a gathering for shared learning, drawing on the experience of local churches that are already living out what it means to be a neighbor. Through biblically and theologically grounded plenary teaching, case studies from churches across the country, practical approaches and strategies, and honest reflection, the conference explores how the church can move beyond its walls and live out Jesus’ call to love our neighbor as ourselves.
Church as a Neighbor is the 2027 ministry conference of Asian Theological Seminary (ATS), held in partnership with Christian Bible Church of the Philippines (CBCP).
