Asian Theological Seminary is pleased to announce the appointment of seasoned pastor and dedicated ATS professor, Rev. Dr. Melchor Go, as the incoming, new chancellor of ATS, effective April 1, 2022.

ATS is grateful to God for the clear vision, servant leadership, and faithful service of Rev. Dr. Timoteo Gener as ATS Chancellor since 2011.

Dr. Mel Go is the Founding Pastor of Shekinah Christian Church and Professor of Pastoral Studies at ATS since 1994. He is also the Director of the ATS Doctor of Ministry program. He holds degrees from Union Theological Seminary-Philippines (D.Min.), ATS (M.Div.), and Bethel Bible College (BCM). Dr. Mel is married to Gloria Escasinas Go and they have two sons, Paolo Guicho Go and Mikhael Guicho Go. We thank God for guiding the ATS Board in the selection process.
