ATS SLDC and Filipino Anabaptist Network Form Partnership for Certificate in Bible Interpretation

Quezon City, Philippines –  Asian Theological Seminary (ATS), through its Strategic Leader Development Center (SLDC), formally entered into a partnership with the Filipino Anabaptist Network (FAN) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing for the implementation of a Certificate in Bible Interpretation for Teaching and Preaching.

This partnership marks a shared commitment to equip pastors, ministry workers, and emerging leaders of the Filipino Anabaptist Network with sound biblical interpretation skills that are essential for faithful teaching and preaching in the church and ministry contexts. Through this collaborative program, ATS will provide theological training grounded in academic rigor and pastoral relevance, responsive to the needs of leaders serving in diverse ministry settings.

The Certificate in Bible Interpretation for Teaching and Preaching is a structured program consisting of ten (10) modules, designed to be both comprehensive and accessible for active ministry practitioners. The program includes five (5) core modules, which will establish a strong foundation in biblical interpretation, and five (5) elective modules, allowing participants to further develop competencies aligned with their specific ministry contexts and teaching needs.

Under this agreement, ATS through the SLDC, will provide the course content and delivery of the modules, while the Filipino Anabaptist Network will facilitate the participation of its pastors and leaders in the program. Both parties affirm their shared vision of nurturing biblically grounded, theologically reflective, and ministry-ready leaders who can faithfully handle the Word of God.

This partnership reflects ATS’s ongoing commitment to serving the wider Christian community through contextualized theological education and leadership development, and FAN’s dedication to strengthening biblical teaching and preaching within its network.
